🎶 What a magical morning at Atlas Elementary! Our Kindergarten and 1st Grade Choir, led by the wonderful Ms. Park and Mr. Pizana, lit up the stage with holiday joy. They performed for a full house: families, friends, and the entire Atlas Elementary community cheering them on!
And the star on top? 🎅✨ Santa and his sleigh made a special appearance, adding even more wonder to an already unforgettable celebration.
We’re so proud of our youngest Gryphons for bringing the holiday spirit to life! 🛷🎄

🎄It all started last year, during the 2024 Festival of Lights Parade, when Atlas High School history teacher, Mr. Gregg (second photo), had the inspirational idea for Atlas to have a float in the 2025 parade. We started dreaming (and building, and building!) and voila -- Mr. Gregg's dream turned into an amazing opportunity for our Atlas staff and families to participate in this year's parade, sharing Atlas with the local Colorado Springs community!
A HUGE shoutout goes to our woodshop teachers, Mr. Johnson and Mr. Vasquez (first photo), along with our woodshop students, who made the vision come to life! Many, many hours were logged getting the float and all of the lights (over 4,000!) just right!
Mrs. Fisher and her art students created the lit-up "Atlas" on top of the float (third photo), and Mr. Ramos, with Unlimited Landscape Services, generously lent us his trailer, which was the ONLY way we could pull this off.
Thank you, Atlas staff and families, for making Atlas's Parade of Lights Debut a huge success!

🎉 Wacky Wednesday for a Wonderful Cause! 🎉
Our elementary teachers, Ms. Lindsey and Ms. Rossi, went all-in on their Wacky Wednesday 🤪 costumes, and it was a hit!
They brought the energy, the laughter, and the spirit to help inspire our students and staff to donate canned goods for the Atlas Food Pantry. With the holidays coming up, every item helps make sure our families are supported and cared for.
🥫❤️
Thank you to everyone who has donated so far, and thank you, Ms. Lindsey and Ms. Rossi, for leading the way in true Atlas fashion!
