Local Resources Available During Government Shutdown
Dear Atlas Families,
As we continue to be impacted by the federal government shutdown, we want you to be aware of the services available to you to support you during this time.
Pikes Peak United Way's Family Success Center, located at 1520 Verde Dr., is a one-stop hub to help families thrive that houses over 17 different on-site partners.
Pikes Peak United Way's 2-1-1 service helps connect furloughed federal employees, government contractors, or anyone else affected by the shutdown with resources for food pantries, utility assistance, and other social services. Specialists provide information and referrals for a wide range of needs, including health care, mental health services, job training, and crisis resources. Simply dial "2-1-1" from your phone to be immediately connected.
Atlas's Food Pantry will be open on Fridays from 3-4pm. Our food pantry is located on the back side of our middle school and is open to anyone in the community, including you.
